By accessing or using ExamPrep ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use ExamPrep.

2. Description of Service

ExamPrep is an online exam preparation platform that provides access to past questions from JAMB (Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board) and WAEC (West African Examinations Council) examinations. The Platform offers study and exam modes, AI-powered tutoring, performance analytics, and study tracking features to help students prepare for their examinations.

3. User Accounts

You may use certain features of the Platform without an account (anonymous sessions). To access full features including progress tracking, performance analytics, and leaderboards, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

4. Acceptable Use

When using ExamPrep, you agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any purpose other than personal educational preparation
• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from the Platform without prior written permission
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or collect data from the Platform
• Submit false or misleading question reports
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure or services
• Use the AI tutor to generate content unrelated to exam preparation

5. Intellectual Property

The ExamPrep platform, including its design, features, code, and original content, is owned by ExamPrep and protected by intellectual property laws. Past examination questions are sourced from publicly available materials from JAMB and WAEC. Explanations, analytics, and AI-generated content are proprietary to ExamPrep. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our written consent.

6. AI Tutor Disclaimer

Our AI tutor is designed to assist with exam preparation by providing explanations and guidance. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated explanations may occasionally contain errors. The AI tutor should be used as a supplementary study tool, not as a sole source of information. We recommend verifying critical information with your teachers, textbooks, or official JAMB/WAEC syllabus materials.

7. Question Content

ExamPrep sources past questions from publicly available examination materials. We make every effort to ensure accuracy. If you find an error in any question, answer, or explanation, please use our built-in reporting feature or contact us. We appreciate community contributions to maintaining the quality of our question bank.

8. Free Service and Advertising

ExamPrep is currently provided free of charge. We may display advertisements through Google AdSense to support the ongoing development and maintenance of the Platform. We reserve the right to introduce premium features in the future. Any changes to pricing will be communicated in advance, and existing free features will remain accessible.

9. Limitation of Liability

ExamPrep is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, for free users, is zero).

10. Exam Results Disclaimer

While ExamPrep is designed to help you prepare effectively, we do not guarantee any specific exam results or scores. Your performance on actual JAMB, WAEC, or other examinations depends on many factors beyond our control, including your personal effort, study habits, and exam conditions.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in behavior that we determine to be harmful to the Platform or other users. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, providing notice through the Platform. Your continued use of ExamPrep after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through the courts of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.
